Todays finds

Hunted parts of a 50 acre site today. I've hunted some areas pretty hard in the past with excellent results but every time I go back I search for a new "honey-hole", have found a few things scattered lately but just havent come across another good spot................YET.

Awesome finds!! What does it say on the buckles and tag?

The buckle says "SOLID BRASS PAT JAN 1925"
The other is a dog tag for "PEPPER" from "Vero Beach. FL"
It does have a phone number - I will just have to look up the area code for Vero Beach and call the owner.....or maybe not, maybe Pepper is no longer with us and would cause too much heartache in rememberance.....

My dogs died some years ago, and I still carry their tags on my keychain to remember them by. If I were Pepper's owner, I'd want that tag. That may be just me though.

Dont worry, I plan on giving it back. As I'm sure you know, its not too often that returning a find is soooooo easy - with the phone number printed on it.
