Well it’s been a while but finally the rain stopped and the sun came out so went out to the old racecourse today! So good to be out in the fresh air again xx

Found this lovely spindle whorl, belt loop, weird bit of lead that looks like a face.. pot mend, 3 bobbin shot, 15 musket balls, which must be a record, a chunky disk with a B stamped in the centre, buttons 3 pre dec, a George 3rd and a fake then what looks like a hammered, but has stamps on each side 🤔 xx

Now himself took a picture (with his proper camera) of a Red kite, so have added it as mine are always just blobs so you can see how beautiful they are xx fingers crossed the weather is kind for us again tomoz xx

I'd be strutting about with my chin up after a hunt like that! l.o.l..
Congrats!

Himself caught that kite very nicely.

Quite the decoration of that whorl. Interesting for such a utilitarian device.

Update… the silver coin could be a slap token . 🤔…

Irish countermarked tokens that are worn silver hammered coins, shillings, groats, countermarked with the initials or merchants and used as trade tokens.

Beautiful Kite photo that Himself took.
Congrats on the countermarked silver, always great to dig a different type of something.
I see you got a Bullhead counterfeit also.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow's hunt.
