Nice hunt that you had, maybe a Roman silver will be next. No idea on the buckle.

Agreed, you will. Ours are about 60/1 ratio (Bronze/Silver).

Buckle doesn't look a Roman Style, but I'm not familar with European variants.

It's all in the mix, where there's bronzes there has to be a silver, dig enough silvers and hopefully one day it'll be a gold.

Big coin under buckle:


IMO: Gratian (about 375AD) Obverse Legend: DN Gratia etc.. (DN= Dominus Noster= Our lord)
Reverse: Gloria Romanorvm (The glory of the Romans).
Exergue: SMRP (SM= Sacra Moneta=Sacred–or Imperial-Money) R=Rome; P= Prima (first) officina.
