Guess I should.verify that the gold looking coin is not gold. It is zinc. It's a German coin called a Deutsches reichspfennig. Cant get a date or face value cause it was literally beat on by something. Anyone have a round about date for the eagle button though?

Great finds! I may be wrong, but I believe that the buttons you found are post Civil War, probably 1875-1900.
