I went out today and hit the thrift stores in my area. I ran across a pair of sterling silver earrings for .99. After I got to the car I noticed they were stamped ND Norway Sterling .925S. I looked up that mark and it appears to have been made by Plus Designs in Fredrikstad Norway. The only thing I need to find is which of their designers made it. I think it may be Anne Greta Eker but Tone Vigeland and ERLING CHRISTOFFERSEN also designed jewelry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stylistically it looks more like an Anna Greta Eker designed piece. Being that it is not signed you can't say for sure who actually designed it. But you can say "attributed to" Anna Greta Eker or Erling Christoffersen. You know that Anna and Erling were husband and wife? They were the chief designers of the silver workshop at Norway Plus Designs when it started in 1958. Tone Vigeland joined them in 1959. These 3 were the main designers for the company. Odvar Pettersen was the production manager, he also designed a few pieces. Being that they are not actually signed, they won't command as high a price as a signed piece would but, they should still do very well if you plan on selling them. Nice examples of modernist mid century Scandinavian designed jewelry.

Thanks so much for the reply. I put them on feebay last night and got $159.95 for them this morning. Not bad for a few hours and 99 cents!

If they sold taht quick, you listed them too low. But for .99 cents who's complaining right! Your happy, the buyer is happy, all is good. I got a clock listed right now that I paid .50 for (actually I gave her a dollar) and I got my first bid 8 hours later for $99.99, there's 7 people watching it so far. Gotta love it.
