Today's finds in the woods.

New to metal detecting. Got back in woods and found some interesting stuff. Worthless but tells me something was likely back here long ago. 3 nails, (one flat and about 6 inches deep) a small metal ball, BB size, and a large piece of iron size of my hand. No idea what the large piece is, it was only an inch deep.
