Todays finds from skating rink

The girls and I ran over there for an hour, these are the good things I found besides old rusted cans and broken glass, there was a lot of broken glass under the ground near the building.

Keep looking. The more you dig the odds are in your favor on finding something good. I keep everything I find, that encludes all the junque and trash. Scrap metals have value too. Keep em swinging and keep em coming!

I like detecting, it gets me out of doing house work , I have 3 places to check, my yard again going the other way, the church lot and the skating rink, well and the middle school when I can get out there, the other places are closer.

cool job, more you dig more you find, i discriminate iron as most places i hunt i am looking for gold silver or coins, later tg

I am always second guessing my discriminator, I set it to not pick up nails and junk but then I think "what if there is something that beeps junk but is actualy something good and I miss it? so I turn the discriminator off, but then I think "I don't want to pick up everything" so I set it again, and back and forth.

Try to remember where the needle was on your meter

I have tried reading the needle but it jumps so fast it is hard to tell, question: how come sometimes when I am sweeping the detector back and forth I get a good strong beep but when I go over the spot up and down there is either no beep or a chippy beep?

I got mine last summer and used it then, then quit for the winter and started up again this summer, once I remembered to get new batteries for it , what are you doing still up?
