Hit a few places today, started in my yard and found some nice older stuff. Rein guide, harmonica reed, pewter spoon bowl. Figured I had some daylight left so I went to my little community building down the road. I figured on digging every deep signal, even the trash. When I dug this piece of steel
slash/high coin-iron signal the indian head was stuck to it, Thought it was a little odd how its shaped almost like an arrow head,....anyway..after multiple magnifications and squinting till crosseyed, seems to be an 1898...I think. The flat button has a nice eagle on the back so im also wondering on its significance.
enjoy,
