Today's Finds 2-10-2024

Started the day at my 1700’s home field permission. Not much there besides can-slaw again. Used the Deus 2 WS6 Master. Never had the Deus 2 in that field. Also found some pottery lying on the late 1800's home side.

Such a nice day I moved on to the 1860’s farm house. I figured it was about time to start cleaning the trash out so maybe I can find items that are much older. Used the ORX in coin fast today. Hit on a bunch of can-slaw, a modern penny 17-coin spill (mostly zinclons), my first complete spoon, a couple more shotgun headstamps (20 GA), door hinge, and a bunch of items I haven’t identified. Was only digging mid to high tones to clear out the can slaw. Did get some nails in some of the holes. Had a lot of fun.

These headstamps were found right outside the front door of the house. As I found each one, I was imagining the homeowner shooting birds right out the front door which is right on the road!
