Today's Finds 1-6-2024

Back out to the old farm before the snowstorm started. Took the ORX with the 11" x35 today. Thought I'd take a couple hours and sniff around. Loving the ORX, for some reason I actually understand what it's telling me. I dug less trash today than any other hunt. I did dig some on purpose, wanting to verify what the ORX was telling me. I found my second Indian Head Penny, an old coin purse (no coins), and a Stutz Bearcat along with a few other interesting items.

The coin purse is from a bar/hotel that has been out of business for at least 40 years. I was a surface find that I swung over and thought damn, no coins.



Now everything is covered with snow.

That's a fun variety of recoveries. Congrats on the IH. I just bought one of those IH coin holders with dates yesterday so I can start filling it.

I had one of those Stutz Bearcats when I was a kid. Kind of neat to find.
