Your doing great in that ghost town

HISTORICAL NOTE: C.A. Edgarton and Sons opened a factory in 1881 on Leominster Road in Shirley, Mass to produce webbing for suspenders and garters. Around 1900 it became known as the President Suspender Company. About 1930 George Frost Belt Company merged with the Suspender Company. In the early 1960's the President name was dropped and it was just George Frost Company.

A great mix of very cool finds - congrats !

I found two or three of those "Shirley President" suspender clips here in Ohio last year.
Put them in a Electrolysis Bath - they cleaned up real nice.

A bit more (interesting) history:
In 1881, a suspender factory was built, “because in those days, a lot of people wore suspenders.” The President Building is so named because the company changed the style of suspenders to one that President Teddy Roosevelt was convinced to wear. From then on they were referred to as President Suspenders.

I think they were very popular in those years.

That DEUS II is the shit !!
I love that old military button, never seen one like that before !!
The Deus 2 is out of this world. Believe me I can't believe how much I let go with other metal detectors.

I've been hunting 35 years, and I cringe to think what I left in the ground, even though I have had top of the line machines..
2 weeks ago I pulled a Walking Liberty Half dollar from an Iron infested spot that I thought was hunted out 20 years ago..

If I were you I would go back to all those places. That's what I'm doing.
