Any clue on how to clean this kind of stuff. He found a printing plate from a movie from 1939, a bunch of coins, 2 metal lipstick cases from the 30's. like I said would like to know how to clean this stuff up.

Well, I clean very few of my relics, but when I do, i use the old electrolysis method. Some stainless, a little electrolyte fluid, and a 9v charger you are willing to sacrifice.

Don't clean relics is safest bet(I don't go beyond a little soapy water with a little old toothbrush on the grime for brass generally), green patina is proof of age. Love the turquoise green colored brass.
