Today's find!

Here's what I found today in Madison Co.,Il. It's a small point that looks to be heat treated and both ears are broken off evenly so it will still display nicely. Thanks for looking and as always HH! b.a.

I got into all this treasure hunting through metal detecting, but I have got to find me at least one of those someday...
I have always looked around the creek beds, but being mostly in the city when I have, I haven't had any luck. Maybe eyes aren't trained for that sort of thing either...

Where I found that point there's houses on both sides no more than 100 feet away and it's one of my best spots to go! Just keep looking and you'll find one. I think I walked four or five times before I learned what to look for in creeks, just dont give up!
