Decided to take the day off before the heat and humidity comes back. My first US bit boss, a beat up breast plate and a few bullets. was good to have a good afternoon.

what is a bit boss? what was it used for?

The Bit boss was a brass emblem on a calvery horse bit. There where a bunch of different ones.
