Relic Hunting
Today Myself and JRSherman went hunting for a little while, I got married this weekend and Josh is down from Oklahoma and isnt leaving until tomorrow so I figured we could hunt one last day, the day started off behind confederate lines in a small town out of Greenville, NC. It was hot and the weeds were tall but we stuck it out for a short time, Josh found a nice Confederate Friction Primer and we know its confederate bc the union was never on that side, then I found a first a nice dropped .69 Nessler. We left that site and went to another confederate and Union camp about 40 miles west and luck struck again. Got my 3rd plate for 2011 a nice arrow hook plate rolled out of the hole and I nailed it with shovel just like the other two, lol. Anyway it was a great day and we got to recover and save a few nice relics.

Thanks for looking!

Marriage, then detecting?
I think you have it backwards.
Congrates on both,
Carl

Congrats on getting married, and the awesome plate!

Nice plate and very nice bullet. I have yet to come across one of those. Congrat's on the wedding too!

Was great to spend the weekend with you brother! Congratulations to you both again!

To say he was excited would be less than truthful. I was seriously afraid I was going to have to carry him out of the woods he was shaking so bad, and that would have been a long walk!!

I am extremely grateful that I was able to attend and be a part of the happy events of your weekend! I look forward to doing so again in the future.

Josh

Congrats all the way around :icon_thumright:

YOU FOUND THAT IN GREENVILLE?!? I live near Greenville! I should come hunt where you are! :tongue3: The only thing I've found civil war here in Rowan County is a 3-ringer (fired), a Union Officers Coat button (Found at Confederate prison), and a 3-ringer "pain" bullet in my backyard! ??? Big congrats!
