what is div i am from nw missouri
Sorry I just forgot most people don't know what that is, it's a relic hunt that is by invitation only. Usually around the Culpeper Virginia area. You can find out more on this site. http://www.mytreasurespot.com/forums/index.php Click on the Diggin forum or the faq.

Very nice finds.

DIV :o Put me in your pouch Tim....would love to get there one year!! Great find's once again

DIV is going to be great this fall. The ground is going to be SUPER HOT though so I hope you have your Double D coil ready ;D  I know the area that it's going to be at....not too far from the last DIV site at Brandy Rock. Brandy Rock was a once in a lifetime the first go round. A friend dug 5 plates on one hillside about 40 yards high by 60 yards long.

Good Luck, and HH

Definitely have the 6x10 DD coil for that red dirt! That site is amazing, lots of relics will be found again. I think this hunt I will primarily be digging huts and not waste to much time surface hunting. Depends on how the huts are lined up and how many. At the last hunt we all got into a beanfield and started digging some test holes looking for some ash and a guy directly behind stuck his shovel in the ground and hit a US plate! He put a small nick in it but it was a nice one! That field had hundreds of huts in it, lots of CS block I's were dug as well as CS plates.

nice finds I was looking at the DIV site how do you get into the pool to get selected for the spring hunt?

thanks Vrent

You have to become a member of My Treasure Spot and then get to know the guys and talk with people and get to know Rose and John K. and once your on there and established, when they start signups you put your name in and if you're lucky, you'll be selected. This is an invitational hunt as said above, so the better you know the people over there the better your chances of getting into the DIV hunts. There really good people but the competition to get into the hunts is tight....Last signup there were like 500-600 people that tried to signup but only around 200+ selected..

Nice relics, I bet the finds are in better shape coming out of a yard sense theres no plows or chemicals.

Cool finds!
How do you get an invite to those hunts?

Forum participation is the best way, just go to Treasurespot.com and register. It's similar to Tresurenet in that it has a lot of people posting and different types of forums. I post on the relic and bottle forum and the Digging forum. The Div committee will determine the hunt sites and far in advance the committee will select the people who go. The hunt has a fee of 225.00 this helps to pay the landowner and set up funds for the hunt. It is a 3 day event and water , donuts, coffee and a sack lunch with soda are free each day. They even bring water out to the diggers in 4-wheelers! On the last day of the hunt a BBQ is provided and it is always excellent. The hunters also display their finds at that time. They have raffles at the pre-hunt meeting the day before. They also have a bunch of donated items that are given away as well. I have been to 2 so far, last Oct. and last March. If you post your finds and make posts on other finds, and basically get to know some of the regular guy's on the forum than you will have a great shot at being selected. One neat thing is I have made some really great friends and get invited to hunt with them the day before Div starts. They have two a year and the amount of relics that are found will astound you! You need to keep a watch on the forum for the next Div hunt sign ups. This upcoming Div is Div 10, and the Div 11 already has the entrants picked as well. You will need to shoot for Div 12 which will be next October. The hunts are usually all in the Culpeper area. A good friend of mine is from Richmond is picking me up at the airport in Richmond. Good luck. Tim
