Thanks, that is a fired 69 caliber 3 ringer. Looks like it was fired with the ramrod still in or was doubled loaded with another bullet on top of it?

Nice Saves Tim ;D I got out for awhile too, found my 1st carved chess piece and another drop .69 fatboy. Hope to see ya at the meeting.

Have you figured out if those bullets were shot by or shot at the 24th Missouri Voluntary Infantry? ;)

I wish I could but I cannot. My GG Grandfather was in the 24th. The only thing I know for sure is the 24th was at this site, along with 12 or 15,000 other Union soldiers. Thats as close as I can get at this point.

Not sure Civil, but it is lead but just not a bullet. Take care. Tim
