todays boxes

over the last few days done a few boxes of cents and today knocked 3 nickels boxes out.

cents totaled about. 71 wheats in 5 boxes oldest was 1917 with 4 1920 cents, one looked like a 1922 but had damage, some kind of pressure mark on the last number. 192?.... I'll have to take a better look at it. there was no mint mark though.
probably 5 or so king george 6th canadians oldest was a 1938.

the nickels came as follows

4 war nickels and one was an ender
90 pre 1960 nickels
ZERO buffalo nickels... suprise to me for sure
6 1939
3 1938's... one was a D
1 (2005) 1 dollar coin from mexico
1 (2007) 5cent Euro..
1 (?) 5 Forint with a crane on the front
one very odd 1958 with an 8 mark in the center of the front and back of the coin. kept it for sure.

Forint is defiantly from Hungary.

some nice finds. There is always a variety of different finds with cents and nickels which keeps it interesting. I haven't been searching as much as I had planned this month so far myself but I'll probably search a couple of boxes of cents and nickels this weekend.

its always so tough for me on weekends because as soon as i get the box home or even on the way home.. its already being opened and unrolled.

I mean i wish i could just get a family member to lend me money and i'd pay them back at the end of the month. wouldn't hurt having a stack of unopened nickel boxes at home.

yeah i was defintaly excited with the ender.. mostly the war nickels have a certain color or tone to the thats why we spotted it
