at least you got a couple and that 1964 from the teller helped add a little sugar to the day!

Were the quarters at least plastic wrapped that you didn't have to open?

Those dimes do seem a little lite for your usual boxes, it's almost like they gave you some of mine by accident!

Tjat is the average about 1 silver dime in a box. I get fustrated with Quarters and Dimes. I just do them when ther are not halves.

Good Score.

Just out of curiosity, how have you done with quarters this year?

More for the pile. I always think about Quarters, then go either Halves or Dimes. I need to give it a whirl though. Good Job Cards.

Yes plastic, but I did open and dump them.

My average is probably 1 out of every 3 or 4 boxes.

The dimes did pretty nice for you. The quarters always seem to be feast or famine. And the Feasts I have only seen two or three big silver quarter scores in several years. Of course I have been gone for almost a year...Great finds.

None of us will ever learn, but it is for the better. A skill most American's don't have- knowlege on their currency. We benefit from their loss, people spend their grandparent's saved silver for a pack of cigarettes or a 6 pack of bud light(not knowing they are really paying 15x more than they have to).

...Decant dime batch, I wouldn't complain.

Also, I am sure you know this already, but the other night I discovered a quick and painless way to open brinks quarter rolls.
My hands were getting hurt trying to open those brinks quarter rolls by hand, so I decided to get a razor blade. A quick light slash and the coins are ready to be easily pushed out. Works great with brink's dimes as well. :)

Good luck and HH!

So for us mortals, it's probably 1 out of every 10 - 12 boxes. ;D ;D
