Todays bottle, and It's a nice one!
I went to see about a job today, but unfortunately got there a few minutes too late to meet the lady I needed to see. So on my way home I stopped by the lot where huge amounts of fill dirt have been dumped over the past few months. This lot has given up quite a few bottles, and I noticed some new grading there so I figured it'd be a good time to have a look.
About two minutes in I spied this one on edge in the mud with the lettering showing. I just knew it was going to be broken, but to my surprise it came out in one piece! It's a "Consumers Soda and Mineral Water Limited New Orleans" I'm trying to find a match to date it, but no luck so far. I can find a few similar ones online, but the embossing is different than the one I have.
Well it's early yet so I might just head back and look some more......
