Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

wow...thats great!!! Congrats, I've hit a huge dryspell. I started this hobby off great and now I havn't found but 2 or 3 per 1000.00 Oh well, guess thats what ya get when you live in a big city.

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

Don't give up. Take a fun day with your spouse and hunt banks. Get out of the big city and hit the back roads for banks. Google lists 3629 Banks near Louisville. Maybe you could try some of these I found while surfing.
Jeffersontown,Worthington,West Buechel,Fern Creek,Brooks,Middletown,Shively,Valley Station,Highview.
Here are a couple of friendly tips. Big banks equal lots of coins but not necessarily the silver you are after.Smaller mom and pop(not big chain) banks are better for smaller hauls of better coins.Unless the lobby is closed for the day, have you and your bride go in together and have her ask. Ladies tend to take care of ladies more than us guys.
I always ask them if they could check with the other tellers and remind them there might be some in the vault.(some tellers are robots who only think about one thing at a time) So we help them along. Don't rule out Credit Unions but they tend to ask if you are a member. I tell them I am new in town and I am shopping around for banks etc. for my wife . Good luck out there. Jim

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

Kevo...I agree with Jim....keep plugging.....we all go through those "dry spells"......then you will hit a load of silver. Perseverance baby!!!

This game is like a roller coaster.....just hang on for the ride.....

Good luck....but it's coming....I know it...... ;)

LJ,

Was this from another CMI # 96 Box? If so what was the date it was stamped?

Yes it was stamped #96 and the date was Nov. 2006 I think. I am starting to like that number.....ha! I have two more boxes due in Monday from the same bank but a different branch. I am going to check that number right away....lol. Where is #96 done? Any idea?

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

Can you ship me some of your boxes ;D My first box was a skunk. You could probably fit it all in one of those flat rate boxes at the Post Office ;D How do you do it LJ!!

Sure...I'll send you a sealed box....overnight it to you.....but if it is a skunk....I will never hear the end of it.....lol.

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

With my no-success on the first box it would be a skunk but I wouldn't blame ya :D

I will trade you my CMI # 41 & 04 dated march and april for your 96's dated last year. I will even pay the shipping.

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

What does "CWI" stand for again? "Coin Wrapped ????". Do you know what these numbers correspond to by chance?

If you are serious.....I will ship you one. No probs here.

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

Looks like you are going to hit 3000 very, very soon with boxes like those.

The queen of CRH, for sure!!! :)

Coin Wrap, Inc.

I saw another topic that covered this the other day. From what I read, the CWI# doesn't mean anything if you ask them.

Though I suspect it could be a customer number or a location number or something like that.

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...

Looks like a good day! ;D

Re: Today's 2 Boxes...
