Welcome

Welcome to Tnet :hello:

I have not seen a tiny Ancient Spur like that, is it Votive?

Thanks for the welcome, I hope you will soon be even more nice finds :hello:

First off, great finds! :icon_thumright: I was just wondering, though, what were the spurs used? Is it a spur in the sense we know of today used but horse riders? If someone maybe has a diagram of what it is worn on...

I tried to ask the same question, as I have never heard of a Celtic spur, not to say that it doesn't exist, but looks more Votive to me :dontknow:

I assume that the spur had the same usage as today with the horse riders
perhaps never before seen Celtic spur I can safely say that this is a Celtic spur (first-second century BC)

Why the 2 loops in the vertical plane, how did the straps work in 4 directions?

:BangHead: really do not know how it was attached, perhaps only two-loop :dontknow:

Nice finds! It is really interesting how you know all the items that you dig. If I were over there I wouldn't know what anything was, except for the gold staters:)
