Went dirt fishing this morning... Took a 63 mile drive and then into the desert. Took me from the time i exited my car and placed my MD on the ground, took a few steps and Bang! Got a 57 mid tone signal and what do i see, a 1892 V Nickel. Found Some other clad within 30 mins but the rest of the day was dry... Good day!

Thank you sir!

I love that suspender buckle and the nickle came out in great shape. Good job.

Thanks Tennessee! Did you notice the plate which say West Tennessee? The suspenders buckle was found in the same area. The place is an old mining town. I cant find the brand on line do you know who its from? I'm assuming its from the mid 1800

Seems like you knew where you were going? Sounds like a successful researched trip, and not just a stab in the dark. Great job, I'm thinking you need to hit that spot quite a few more times.

WOW! Amazing surface find! A beauty! :hello2: :blob9: :hello2: Excellent site pics, & one of the coolest suspender buckles I've seen. If Orogrande means what I think it does, Big Gold, I hope you spend a lot more time there! HAVE FUN! Andi

I can't make out the name on the suspender buckle but that style looks to be very late 1800's to early 1900's. Don't know what the West Tennessee piece is off of.

It says puncely or princely...

I was wrong about the date of your suspender buckle. It is from 1946 or later. I did a google search for Princely suspender company and found a web site that states that they went into business in 1946 in New York.

Thanks a million Tennessee!

Next brother!
