Nice finds deb55! On your earphones - make sure the male connector portion is nice and clean. If you still can't get them to work - you might have a faulty headphone jack. Why would this happen? You may have been bumping against the connector...always try another set of earphones before giving up...

Went back to the same place I found my indian head one cent, found a 1929 wheatie, and a few spoons. . And then my headphones quit working. When I plug them in halfway they work, not sure what's going on. I'm bummed .

Good finds, sorry to hear about headphones...had the same problem a few days ago, haven't even looked At them but the jack unscrewed. Probably a wire came unsoldered, may be tough but fixable.

Called fisher and told me try another pair of headphones. If they don't work it's in the detector. May take a week to be without it, but they seem nice enough on the phone. I may just go without for a while.

Are. Any of the spoons sterling ?

It's good to have a backup detector and headphones (I have both). I use and sell wireless headphones on the classifieds. Good luck hope it's nothing serious.
