Today...4 Boxes & 10 Hand Rolled....

Went to pick up two boxes from another branch of my buy bank. I am trying to get this branch on a weekly two box order like the other three branches but it hasn't been a very smooth start. It has been every other week so far.

When I got there they told me they ordered 4 boxes. I told them no problem... ....I would get them all. I didn't have enough cash with me to get them all at one time so I got two checked them....dumped the rejects and went back for the other two plus 10 hand rolled that the teller next to the one I was dealing with told me she had.

Three of the boxes were dated 06/07... ....love those (yielded well) and one was dated 04/07 (skunk). I pulled about 4 or 5 from the hand rolls.

That's UNREAL!!!! Out of $100...I only found 4 40%...One was from $6 in loose coins...It was my first "loose coin" find so far...

That is one worn out lady. Better be careful running all those boxes around every week or you'll wear yourself out too.

The boxes with the 06/07 date have been just incredible. I haven't kept track but I would bet they are averaging a little over one silver per roll. Needless to say they have been fun.

BTW Sheldius....one of the four boxes today was a skunk...the one dated 04/07. Obviously there are more of those date boxes left. Hope they have those in a corner somewhere with a tarp over them...lol.

Some of those silvers look pretty ratty LJ. Better send them to me for cleaning. I promise to send them back...............someday.......TRUST ME.............oh, BTW, nice score.....again...............

I routinely order three boxes of haves per week from one bank. Two weeks ago, I had a box stamped June 1. It had a good sprinkling of silver, and I was pleased. I've not gotten another box with a June stamp yet. This week, all three boxes I received were dated May 27, and they were stinkers. However, last week, two boxes were stamped May 17, and they produced satisfactorily. The third box was stamped late April, and had no keepers. Go figure. I'm hoping that I'll not receive any more boxes with the May 27 stamp, and am looking forward to getting boxes stamped June 1-June 7, but I have no control over selecting what I receive.
Before I opened the June 1 box, I cringed, expecting to find nothing. Generally, the older the stamped date, the more I expect to find, but this doesn't really hold. However, there is no denying that the finds have fallen off drastically from when I began doing this back in April or May of last year.
