Toby Character Jug looks like President Abe Lincoln ??

I found this lovely but weird Toby / Character jug. It has "Made in Japan" stamped into the bottom with black ink. It is 4.5 in height x 4 inch in diameter (not including the handle). It's the oddest thing because to me, it has a striking resemblence to Abe Lincoln right down to the beard, nose, and bowtie. I'm guessing maybe 1930-1940s based on the stamp. Any feedback is welcome.
