Hello All. I found these tokens at two 1900's home sites. They are toasted for sure but I love finding tokens, even toasted. The top left Red Goose Shoes one is well documented and the 2nd one I have found.

The other three are were tough to read but after much scrutiny the obverse sides read:
"W. Z. HAYMAN & CO. COW CREEK FLORIDA" on the right two.
and
"LYON PINE CO ODESSA, FLA" on the lower left one.
The reverse sides indicate redeem values for merchandise.

They were all found within 30-MI or so of the respective FL towns. None of them appear on "Richards Token Database".

Can anyone shed more light on these? Thanks for the view and good digging to all. C9

I can only give you an observation from living down there. I never knew Cow Creek to be a town. It is a very large farm. In the area between New Smyrna and Melbourne heading to Orlando are several large farms, primarily for cattle. At one time, maybe still, Florida was the seventh largest cattle producing state.
Odessa in across the state but I know nothing about it. Neat tokens though.

Nice finds! The Hayman / Cow Creek one is listed in Clark's FL Trade Tokens book - the 25¢ one is the only denomination listed, but Mr. Hayman probably had other denominations. Clark shows this as the only thing listed from Cow Creek, although he has a supplement, but I don't have it yet. Rarity 6, he says. 1-5 known.

Clark lists only the 5¢ Lyon Pine Co. / Odessa denomination. Yours is (or was before the aluminum center part went away) either $1 or 50¢ judging by its size. Clark says rarity 5 (6-10 known) on the 5¢ one. Trantow's Lumber Company Store Tokens book shows the same thing except he shows rarity 10 (1-4 known). Note that almost all of the authors of token catalogs have different rarity scales. Trantow say, "A band mill with a daily capacity of 75,000 board feet, operating in the 1920s."

What is the third one - the one in the lower right?

Looks to me to be another Hayman token, 5c denomination.

Hello John. Thanks for the great reply. I really dig digging tokens. david680 is correct the lower right one in another "W. Z. Haymans" token worth 5c.

Good luck and thanks again. C9
