;D Went back out to the old barn that I went to last week. There is an old house behind the barn and that's where I got these finds for today. Luckily the nice folks that own the property were there and the wife decided to go with me! We had a great time! This time I found three coins...not as old as the Indian I had found, but interesting none the less. The first one was a foreign coin! Looks like 1938 Luxembourg 25 cmes. Then I found a wheat penny..and I can't tell the date cause I really gashed the heck out of it!... :'( After recovering from that fatal mistake on the wheat I found a 1964 nickel. Most everything I found there has this awful green stuff growing on it! What do I do with that?
Here's the list of stuff in the picture....left to right....

1/2 of a horse shoe
1/2 of a watch
Maybe a campaign button...? Looks like it says May Bell for Mayor?
Neat marble...and I found another one too but when I was trying to recover it from under the floor it rolled down into a critter hole and I could not retrieve it!
A liberty button
1/2 a spoon
Two shells
The penny
The nickel
The 25 Luxembourg
Two belt buckles

Hope you all had a great day!
;)

I've got to learn how to slow down! But when one has limited time ya want to get it all! What to do? :P

Gypsy...not moss....some sort of corroding stuff on the coins and the buckles! :o

Thanks yall!

No stopping you now. Great finds!!! I can't say for sure but I'm thinking that green stuff is what's refered to as Patina. And some coins can actually be worth more because of it. You're doing great!!! WTG!! HH

:) :) :) Those Old Barns give up plenty of nice finds ....Ask the owners about any old animal hutches that may have been their in the past!!!! Keep on Digging.....You might find an old cache.... ;D
