Looks like the squeeze is on in the U.K. Now if you find an ancient stone or copper figurine it goes in the hopper with the gold/silver coins and other stuff that was considered treasure. But don't worry--"they" say this new scheme will "include 'opportunities' for detectorists". I wonder how long it will be before your ancient family heirlooms are also declared treasure?
