was swinging my thing at a local spring today , in the water.
found many newer coins and some costume jewlery.
also two coins or maybe not, size of nickles just a tad bigger.
no marks to even describe that they may be coins. had been in the water a long time they were encrusted with irony build up.
and they are sticking to a magnet. were some older coins magnetic ?

I wuold think snails before slugs, there aren't many varieties of freshwater slug, and he did say it was springwater(not to try and make you look dumb storm ;)). Could be leeches...

Hehehehehehe, Coin Slugs. They look like washers but without the hole in the middle of them. People used to us them in vending machine to by things.
