Tnet official dream box #'s

Question on dream box #'s
Official tnet dream box for halves is 100ag thats out of 1000 coins
So a dime box has 2500 coins would that mean for it be an official tnet dream box it would need to have 250 ag in it or just the 100?

I would say 20+ for dimes and 20+ for nickels.

Back in 07 or 08 when "dream box" was coined, the average silver per half box was 4 to 5. 100 per box was 20 to 25-fold of average yield. The average yield for dime is/was around 1 per box. 25-fold of average is 25. We are talking about psychological thrill here instead of math. 25-fold of anything will give people big thrill. Who is with me of this?

If we keep going at this rate, we'll be handing out trophies for 2 dimes in 3 years.

Keep everything at 10% of the total amount of coins per box.
100 silver halves
250 silver dimes
Etc. It's called a dream box for a reason.

I still remember a dream dime box a teller @ one of my dump banks claimed to have found earlier this year. She said she got a total of 4 or 5 rolls of silver for herself and sold the rest of the box to the security guard there and he said he got about 4 rolls of silver for himself. That's over 400 silver for the whole box.

I'll never know for certain if they were on the level but they both seemed pretty believable when they told me about it. I remember the security guard was asking me at first where was a good place nearby to sell some silver he had then he told me where he got it and the teller confirmed the story. Im sure that's about as close as I'll ever come to a dream dime box like that one.

I've always thought the 100 mark per box was a good target for a dream bic reguardless of denominations.
I mean if someone gets 91 in a box is it not a dream box bc he or she is nine short.
Still a dream box to me.

Ive hit 20 dimes 2x and 19 3x so no I dont consider 20+ a dream box for dimes-
Going with the 10% I think 250 dimes would be absolutely freaking AMAZING but has that EVER happened here on tnet? Think ive only heard of a few 100+dime boxes- so thats what I would consider-
Just my opinion/thoughts

I think 100 silvers is a dream box regardless of denomination. I hit 89 silvers in a half dollar box and I do NOT consider that a dream box. Don't get me wrong it was completely freaking awesome to get that box, but it wasn't a dream box. I'm still searching for my dream box. I play by the rules even if it would be convenient to bend them sometimes.

I'm not a big hunter like some of you guys but I've had one dream half box.

Well not really a box, out of 300 dollars in MWR I did over a hundred this winter

I've done more dime boxes than halves and my best dime box to date is 7.

Ive had several half dollar boxes over 20.

I cant see a hundred ever happening let alone 250 with a billion dimes added into circulation a year. Its a good thing they arent adding a 100 million to 200 million halves a year to circulation or our averages would really suck

My best ever for dimes was I believe around 55. Halves around 50, mostly 40%.

And then there's the average blah that drags you down and makes you want to quit in between!

My best box for halves was like 3 40%ers or a '64.

Best box for dimes was 7 (I only got $150, so not a full box).

Best BAG of dimes ($1000) was 409 + 5 foreign silvers.
