Tm 808 slight bend in the rear antenna

I doubt it will make any difference in the performance.

The only way to actually know would be to put the coil into an antenna
pattern chamber and test for the antenna's pattern, and then compare
that with the antenna (coil) manufacturer's test data. It's a very
expensive test that would cost several times the value of the detector.

As for bending it..well, I would use caution.

Can it be straightened ?
 

My TF900 2 box rear antenna is bent on both sides (concave towards the control box) way worse than your tm808. It still works fine. As long as yours is tuning up correctly it should be ok. Make sure antenna is connected good and tightened down securely with the thumb screw. I'd be careful trying to bend it back, I thought there was the antenna wire inside the hollow tube?....and if you slip and overbend it could pull the wire off the connector plug up where it connects plus causing the loop to loosen up and wobble by the bigger tubing that the loop tubing goes thru. You could try rotating the antenna 180 degrees and see if it changes anything.
