Hello,

I wanted to start off by saying that I have a sub forum over on Supporting Vendor section of TNET (FishTheDirt.com).

I just wanted to introduce you to a piece that I designed and developed to solve an issue I was having. I (and or my kids) kept leaving behind my Garrett Pro Pointer in the sand after digging, which usually ended in one of us running back to find it. I would usually keep it in my relic bag or side pocket of my BDU's, but that would just introduce sand everywhere and I wasn't happy with that. I came across something online and ordered it, but the "I can make this better" in me decided to try making my own. The one I ordered was "stainless", but after a few trips to the beach it did start to corrode.

I decided to make one out of Titanium so it would not rust and simply because Ti is cool! I also make knives out of this material and just love the way it feels, can be finished, and of course its non-ferrous properties. Without sounding too much like an infomercial :laughing7: here is what I came up with. The first pic is my son wearing the TAR (please refrain from any Celtics comments) :director:

I call it the TAR (Titanium Attachment Ring)

I made the attachment point large so you can pretty much attach anything you want to it. Let me know what you think.

Stop by my forum and say hello. I'm giving a few of these away.

Regards,
Flavio
