Detector(s) used
BH, Prizm IV, Tesoro Cortez!
8)I've been a lurking member since last fall when I got my BH Tracker IV. I have since upgraded slightly to a Whites Prizm IV ( I guess I have a deep seated afinity to the numeral IV) Anyways...I've dug lots of clad and iron crud!, some square nails and various blobs of whatever. I will now attempt to post a picture of some of my more interesting finds. Nothing of banner material of course...but hey, I just might start a trend of former lurkers, emboldened to finally post their meeger finds. Que John Belushi: "Was it over when the Germans bomed Pearl Harbor"...

Ok so here's the picture:

Watchoo Talkin' Bout Willis.....Look's like the "lurking day's are over my man......

nice nice finds and welcome to becomming unlurked ....

Those look like good finds to me! Closeups of the coins, rings, & relics would be great if you have time. Some of us need glasses. :)

Nice looking gun.

Holy crap! It worked! OK here's the details:
The oldest wheat is a 1940s
The Merc is a well worn 1919
A Bahamas quarter 2005 (Bamahamian?)
The silver looking ring has no mark (steel?)
Old Iron Buckle from a plow harness I guess? found in a plowed feild
The Gaudy Gold Plated ring is an Elizabeth Taylor designed "Avon" costume jewelry ring. It is part of a collection called "Love Blooms" which included earings and a "Bangle" whatever that is!
A "Euro" penny
A "Hubley" toy pistol...the "Tex" model minus the trigger guard
An assortment of shells 22 to 45 cal.
3 keys (one which looks like a saftey deposit box key...maybe just wishful thinking?)
A Battleship from Monoply Game
Some newer tokens from one of those traveling carnivals

did I miss anything?

Welcome, You got some really nice finds. Hope you keep on posting ...we ALL will enjoy it and YOU will enjoy it too

I, for one, would like to know where and how you hunt ..could you elaborate?

Thanks, and HH Joe

Was a lurker to at one time, welcome out of the dark Radiemaker

Welcome to Tnet former lurker from the UK. :)

I have a post all policy, which means that everytime Dad & I hunt you will see axactly what we find however good or bad. Shows the reality of UK detecting.

Your finds are only as good as the time you put in (and good detectors help, although in a ploughed field you don't need one)

I have always been partial to the term "Creepers". Very nice finds there, also put the word creepers into your search engine...these guys and gals are wild!..Urban Explorers.

im guilty of lurking too. mostly because i haven't gotten a metal detector yet, and because i just moved and all my collections are in boxes. as soon as i get more time i will post some of the cool things i have found . i have made a few posts though. does that mean im not in the closet ???
