tips for a new order bank?

When looking for a new supplier, be upfront with your intentions. I explain to the manager that I will never bring the coins back, and only ask for a consistent, reliable supply. If they are fine with the task, then I open the account with a minimum $1000. I explain to them that I pay with cash when the order comes in essentially leaving the $1000 untouched. It might be a too much for some, but I don't need the $1000 in my budget so it is fine to sit there.

I agree about being upfront and honest with a new bank. I usually go in and speak to an CSR, explaining my hobby and how it operates. It's especially important to let them know that you will not be bringing any of the coins back to them and also you will pick them up on the day of delivery. This has worked well for me except for one bank which wanted to start charging me for ordering shortly after we began our relationship. We still maintain that relationship, only now they are my biggest "dump bank". HH
