Tipped off to new "Old" house site, buttons, carbine sling buckle and other relics
from earlier last week, finally got around to posting....had left a message yesterday with a farmer whos let me hunt some of his fields, asking about another field of his i wanted to hunt, well he gave me the go ahead for that field, but told me if i rode over to his place he would show me a site he had come across recently as he recently finished clearing a piece of land, he had to drive me to it since the dirt roads were a mess after the rain we got there and we went to one of the corners and there was brick, glass, oyster shell, iron and even some brass pieces lying on top the ground which has been nicely turned over, since i rode with him and he had a little work to do back there i only had a couple hours to hunt but i found quite a bit, especially flat buttons and a carbine sling buckle but no coins as of yet, and part of the site is still in very thick underbrush, cant wait to get back there again
