Tiny Silver Finial?

I eyeballed this at a "modern" dump site I've been working. It's silver, it threaded and has a knurled edge. Possibly an Eqyptian dog motif but I'm not sure about that. Any clues?

Edit: Looked (and read) again to see it's threaded, so maybe a cap? No threads on the inside right?

Yes it is, I really have to start paying closer attention.

I'd say it's just something like a perfume bottle cap..... or a Dragoons rosette.

Perfume bottle cap would make sense...but I would prefer Dragoons stuff!

I'm on my phone right at the moment and can't get the pics. to pull up larger. Maybe the cap to a valve stem from a tire. If or when i get back to the computer i'll have a second look.
