Went out for a few hours in a partially harvested cornfield a few days ago. Walking the dry rows that hadn't been picked I found these 3 in a few hours. I have 3 other tiny points from this site but this is the smallest, almost looks too small to go on an arrow. The tip has a pretty fine point, I was thinking it could have been used as an "exacto knife". The knife is neat too, has some smoothing on the flat side that looks like it may have been worn down from being in the hand.
The pics were pretty good till I cut and resized them, still learning ;D

The knife . . . has some smoothing on the flat side that looks like it may have been worn down from being in the hand.
More likely, was rubbed smooth with another piece of stone to make a comfortable gripping surface. Making it an example of what's called a Backed Knife.

Oh man I missed this post for some reason. The pictures are fine. That knife is a fantastic find.
Congratulations on your artifacts.
