Tiniest “Buckle” I’ve Found So Far

Not even sure it is a buckle per se, but it appears a strap went through it and it has some age to it. It has a slight curvature to it like a buckle. Any ideas on this one what it might have been used for and approx age? Seems to be made of copper.

Thanks. Yes I'm using my iPhone X which is supposedly not as good as the new 3-lens system, but it works well for my finds I think. I usually crop the photos so they are framed right.

Man that is tiny! I am lousy with IDs, but maybe an adjuster slide for some sort of hosiery item? Congrats on finding it, as every little thing matters.
