I have been going in and out of the same park I found the Claddagh ring at and hitting different sections of it. One day I got bored and hit a different park in between for a day to break of the monotony. I got tired of going to the same place over and over. Here's the goods - not too shabby.

Ending up finding a merc. out there the next day.

Followed by lots of change the next day.

The next day I found this High School Class Ring. It is a Josten's ring. I think it is called silver elite which is the metal they use which is a mixture of silver gold and Rhodium I think. I looked the ring up and they sell for $435 if the diamonds on the sides are CZ or $611 if the diamonds are real. Luckily the initials are in it so I am going to get a hold of Josten's to see if I can get it back to the owner. It was definitely by the grace of God I found it. I got a really crusty iron sounding signal but I heard a tiny ping and figured what the heck. I dug the hole a saw something round in the sidewall and it was the ring.

This was the second park to go to different scenery. Found the 2 crystals next to a tree.

I ended going back to the original park after the 4th. It looked like a bomb blew up out there. There was trash every where. I ended up getting a trash bag from one of the park employees. I ended up filling up a huge bag and he drove a cart up and I tossed it in the back for him. I ended up metal detecting while stuff was still being picked up. I found the sterling medal on the surface and found the ring about 2 or 3 inches in the dirt. I ran back into the same park person and told him see karma paid me back and I let him check them out.

Went back out today and found the pendant and the ring. The ring was pretty mangled up and broke on one side. More then likely it's what caused the to lose it in the first place. The ring is marked 950. I think it's silver instead of platinum. The pendant isnt marked so it must have been where it broke but it is silver too. If it doesn't rain and I have a window before it starts up I'll head back out there tomorrow. I'm surprised I have found so much silver there lately. It's a big park so I try to keep gridding different sections each time go. Oh and lots of Squirrels who get really close to me when I dig. I think they are ganging up in case I find their winter hoard of nuts their building and they all end up attacking me. I hear them talking to each other........lol

You'll probably have better luck going through the high school year book from that school and year than trying to get info from Josten's. If the ring has a name or initials, you should be able to find the person in the year book. Once you have the name, sometimes you can contact a reunion committee on Facebook, or sometimes a sympathetic school secretary or librarian will help in your search for the person who lost it. Good luck!

Good advice. Those are the sort of things I have done to return 19 class rings in the past 21 years. Congratulations on the nice finds and good luck with the ring return. As always, stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.

Great bunch of treasure you're accumulating, congrats!
I'm puzzled by the condition of the clad, only surface finds look like that in Nevada.
I clean everything before I take pictures. It takes forever lol. I have a metal thermos and I put a little salt and use that super strong vinegar from home depot. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes of soaking then I use one of those green scrub pads and scrub each coin individually. There has been times I hit undetected places and I've found around $20 in change and had to take a couple breaks between cleaning large amounts like that.
