Hello All,

I was detecting yesterday digging lots of iffy signals and not getting much that was good. Then I got one of those signals that blows your headphones off your head, it wasn't too deep and up popped this plate. When I got home last night wasn't too sure it was the real deal, so I thought i would post it on the Whats It forum too see what people think. They seem to believew it is the real deal, so I figured i would post over here since I just dug it yesterday. Off course if anyone has information to add whether it is the real deal or not please let me know. As the saying goes it only takes one good cool find to make ones day.

Looks like the real deal to me..WOW, WHAT A FIND!!! I will give it a 90% chance that I would have kept walking thinking it was a Can, and thus would have never found it..Or maybe even got an overload..At any rate thats a nice find..

You may be able to find a match on ebay or through a google search..Have you found, or looked for, a 925 stering mark yet? How many grams is it?

Congrats Scott

Sweet silver find! Finding any silver service is still on my list of course. H.H. CARM

GREAT find. Second piece of Tiffany I've seen posted recently. Looks like a saucer for a coffee/tea cup to me.

Thanks all for the good words, it is cool that it is the real deal. My mistake it is a saucer size and not plate side. When I was writing the title I was thinking of a small plate and not thinking about saucer size.

Holy cow that is sweet! Great recovery!

Awesome find!!

I found a Union Bullseye canteen last year that I thought was a can in an area that had been hunted for years. My coil overloaded and i hadn't heard a decent target for an hour so I dug the can which turned out to be the Union canteen. I know hundreds of people walked over "the can" and I was lucky. I always confirm my target now when I get a overload signal. Great Find!

That is a very nice find, I think I would probably have kept on walking.
