So I picked up a nice Tiffany ring and also this black ring. Though it was white gold but after 30 minutes in electrolysis it's still black and is nice and clean. Any idea what type of metal it is? It's not magnetic. It rang up in as 12-07 if I recall. Thanks.

Don't know about the black one but that is a really nice Tiffany!

The black one seems to have a little rust where the stone would've been so maybe steel ring?

That was thought as well. But it not magnetic at all. Still possible?

It sure does have the look if tungsten. Will need to take it to a jeweler. Thanks.

Cool finds

Nice chunk of silver! Bet that was a nice bell sound!!

I can tell ring is made out sterling silver because of the 925 symbol.

Yeah the tiffany is silver but the black one is in question. Thinking tungsten maybe on it.

Hi Bejamble,

Cool Tiffany Ring ... That ring is called METROPOLIS and it sell for $300 New. Don't sell for scrap, being a Tiffany you could get at least $100.

Nice thing when they say tiffany is that they are easy to identify and value. They also hold their value with the name :)
