Last night we managed to get a couple of hours in after work, so went back to the same place as near to home.

himself found this incredible buckle, it’s absolutely gorgeous! I found this Mr Man…. He was known as Mr Bump back in the day! Nice button, pot mend a 1886 Farthing, a 1811 trade token, (i have found one before added pics).

Not sure if the last item is a coin or another token, one side is toasted, but haven’t been able to I’d yet! 🤔 xx

And of course another view across the vale, gorgeous in the evening sunlight! xx

Certainly a lovely spot in the evening to spend a bit of time to swing a coil.
Well found on the buckle and coppers.
I believe that is the first Mr Bump ever posted up.

Very Cool!!!! Congrats!!!!

Cool finds. The Newark token is a scarce one.

Thomas Stansall and William Readett were both grocers; Charles Moor was a chemist (pharmacist); Richard Fisher and William Fillingham were both drapers; and Thomas Wilson was a brazier (maker and repairer of brass items). All operating in Newark, and presumed to have shared the cost of token production for mutual benefit and convenience of their customers.
