So last night we went back to the field of lead… im wondering if this was the site where they made the musket balls during the civil war.. as there is just so much? One day im hoping i can get into the castle archives… just across the road is a building where munitions were stored during the 2nd world war… so maybe, just maybe…

Anyway onto the treasure… Girl Guide (brownie) pixie badge.. a lid, small cube of lead, musket balls, 2 coins (no id yet) and following on from my beautiful Elizabeth found on Wednesday… tonight an equally beautiful Shilling from 1839 Queen Victoria!!

Obligatory pictures of the gorgeous scenery! 😍 xx

The 1839 Queen Victoria image is stunning...would make a beautiful necklace or brooch...and the girl scout badge is such a cool find! My head is spinning from your finds!
