Thursday Dimes and Nickels with. First Buffalo!

I went to the IA state fair today. I know a couple of you are from the area so I stayed out of your banks out of respect. I did however stop at a bank on my way home and picked up $20 in CWR dimes and found 4 Quarter Eagle gold pieces. I'd post pics, but I don't know how to work my camera.

I then picked up my weekly order of dimes and nickels from my credit union. NF Strings Wrapped....

$1000 in Dimes (4 boxes)
Box1: 1964D, 1947D
Box2: 1946, 1947D
Box3: 1953D, 1963, 1964D, 2009D, and a 1980 Hoser Dime, Eh.
Box4: Shutout

Brings my dime averages up to 62 silvers from 39.4452 boxes. 1.57/box!

$200 in Nickels (2 boxes)
Box1: Pretty good for the book! I filled 2 holes, and had 41x other Pre 1962 Nickels. Hole Fillers were 1938 and 1957Box2: I was happy with my 1938 filler. I then told my wife "Would be nice to find an old Buffalo". Sure enough, a Dateless Buffalo. I then told her "Why not go for the trippel header and get a silver war nickel". Next roll, 1945D Silver War. The hits kept coming with a 1942P Silver War. Within a few more rolls I pulled another Dateless Buffalo and then got 2 more hole fillers: 1947D and 1949D. Top it off with some Hoser Nickels: 1961, 1965, 2007, and 1998. This box also gave me 30x Pre 1962s

That makes 6 silver nickels from 7 boxes. .86/box

Time to buy some Nic-A-Date. The gold finds were a joke, just trying to yuk it up.

sweet finds!!!! this if freaking hilarious!!!! this is soooo funny!!!!!!!!!!! oh, btw, how weird, i happened to stop at a bank today, and buy a box of $50.00 gold eagle coins. i found one foreign coin mixed in!!! score!!!!! now, where the hell do i dump all of these stupid gold coins?!?!?! anyway, another foreign coin for the collection!!!!!!! keep it up and hh!
