First time poster here, forgive for jumping right in, but there are some questions I would like to ask to see if anyone has any further insight to this find. When my father was a child, he found a Thurium Medallion that Dr. Cyclone Covey researched on for several years and wrote about in a book called "Calalus". It was also mentioned in a book by Gloria Farley called "In Plain Sight" under the section "The Oklahoma Thurium Coins". Through the years since, my uncle has kept the medallion in safe keeping until about a year ago when he wanted to get an appraisal. I have asked local coin dealers and they believe it is a reproduction. Does anyone know anything about this medallion?

Thanks Don, This is the first time I've seen this. It's been put away for all these years, although it will be a disappointment to my uncle, it is a relief to know what it is. Still it gives a bitter taste of being "had" by a Sears fob and Dr. Covey was always convinced that it was ancient.
