The thrift store I go to reloaded their jewelry counter and so I unloaded my wallet. Paid about spot altogether, although there are some hefty stones in one of the necklaces.

Included in the lot were

-24" sterling herringbone necklace marked 925 italy. Really good condition. Second nicest/heaviest sterling necklace I've found there.
Vintage?

-sterling beaded bracelet marked 925. Only bought this for $1.50 because it weighs 9 grams total. I figure it's likely scrap.

-sterling & turquoise earrings marked Sterling. I don't think these are Native American, but I am at best a novice at judging that.

-Vintage sterling and.. maybe onyx? necklace marked Sterling. I really am interested in dating this piece. I have no idea what to call it to research it either.

-Sterling cat/wreath brooch signed something then 925 with a "c" inside a circle. Having a lot of trouble reading the mark. It looks like a large cursive J followed by two smaller letters. Maybe Jec or Jac? I couldn't find anything on eBay that matched "cat wreath brooch" etc.

-Small folded leaf shaped pendant. I could easily read the sterling mark, but due to tarnish and size I couldn't read the makers mark without my loupe. Closer inspection surprised the heck out of me to ready Tiffany & CO. Does it appear genuine? I found a bunch of leaf type designs by Tiffany, but could not find this exact one on ebay (current & sold).

If anyone has any input on any of the pieces I'd GREATLY appreciate it. If more pictures would help with ID'ing them please let me know. I'm struggling with just trying to figure out how to research them so a point in the right direction would be wonderful help. :)

Well, this may identify the cat wreath pin/brooch:

Vintage Jewelry and Hallmarks | Jezlaine Filigree Kitty Cat Wreath Sterling 925 Pin Brooch

The silver and turquoise earrings look definitely Navajo Indian made to me -- the design is one they use. In particular. the fact that the flower is repeated on the post part of the earring says to me they are Indian made. Also, the style of the post slide, especially if that too is sterling.

Hope it helps!

There are so many vintage onyx pendant sterling necklaces on eBay to search. Is yours signed at all besides the "sterling"?

Thanks a ton! That pendant does look to be signed perhaps "Jez". The only difference really is that mine has the dangling beads hanging from the bottom. The one I have does appear to be in better condition, so perhaps their beads were lost/removed... or mine were added.

The earrings are only marked sterling from what I can tell. The butterfly backs, however, are marked 925 and DV I think. Awesome to know they are likely Navajo! :)

I can't find any other markings and the STERLING mark is faded off a bit. I'm wondering if it was marked something else but it faded..

Here is a better picture of the clasp and some details on the necklace. Above where each stone is connected to the necklace there is a small picture which appears to be of different flowers.

The necklace is pretty, artsy, decorative. Often times artists will mark the "art parts" somewhere. Like the back of the decorative "flowers" or on the bezel of the onyx. Some are not signed :(. I don't know anymore info on it either. Good luck!
