The other day I got all of this at a local Salvation Army. 1931 singer for 13$, Underwood 11 typewriter for 25$ and unused ledger for 49 cents! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1502568653.316580.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1502568664.993287.jpg

That No. 5 looks to be in great shape.

Everything still works and it even has the original cord to it

Oh, sorry - the No. 5 is the Underwood typewriter. 8-)

Haha shows how much I know

I got a gerber 8" Chefs knife today for 3 bucks...

Nice stuff, are they worth anything? I got stuff like that in my basement.

The Underwood typewriter is always good money. The Singer in that style is good too. Portable Singers are $200 and up.

Both are great finds. Is the Sewing Machine a Featherweight? I picked up two Smith Corona typewriters 1954 and 1960. Don't look as cool as your Underwood but they are in great shape.

Many old typewriters have been bought just for the keys. People cut the keys off and sell as supplies for steampunk.

Not a featherweight, they look quite a bit different. Good news is they can be found at yard sales though, I found one this past spring.

Congrats on that STEAL!!! :icon_thumright: Score for you/us and a loss for them finally!!! :hello2:
