My mom drove down for a week to see her grandson for the first time and wanted to see where I go to detect. I took her and my daughter out and hoped to find something to impress so I was fired up when I pulled the 1900 barber. Than not 15 feet away I found a nice 1939 Merc.

Took my son after school for a 4 hour hunt to the same park. I wasn't finding anything up until it began getting dark and we started making are way back to the car when I got the best high tone of the evening. Dug down and couldn't believe my luck when I pulled out my first washington quarter (1950D)!

Yesterday I went out with low hopes of finding any more silver. I just couldn't see myself getting that lucky to go three hunts in a row finding the white stuff. Well God was kind on me that day as I surpassed my previous streak of two with three silvers! As a bonus, to add to the already stellar day I found a 1999 Susan B. Anthony dollar (also a first). I don't know what's going on here but I hope this streak can continue up until the hard packed ground of winter forces me to quit (than ill just have to hunt the woods lol). Thanks for looking and HH!

Well done my friend! I am very happy for you!

I have had the best two weeks when it comes to silver, today alone I pulled 5 silvers, including a spanish half reale and a 1941 quarter!!!

Gotta love seeing that silver pile growing!!

Thanks and congrats on your silvers, especially the Spanish half! Wish I could find something like that in my neck of the woods! The "pile" is only 11 silvers this year thus far, just wish I had more time to get out and detect.
