i wrote about a three ringer i found in michigan recently, wondering if it is civil war era, or more recent. i was told to post pictures, finally my daughter showed me how to post a picture. the farmhouse is late 1860's near flint, mich. not a lot of civil war battles near there. were they used for hunting or protection?? maybe someone is knowledgeable about it. also showed pictures of the best finds from two weekends at the farm.. this was the most productive spot i've been. second Indian Head, first and only barber dime in my TH 'ing career. thanks for your help!!!

excellant finds, the bullet looks like a.58 caliber bullet , excellant coinage finds as well.......

I am not sure what that is. What does it measure at ? Is the base hollow ? I tend to think it is more modern though. The CW minies didn't have those little lines inside the rings. It looks like the shell casing may have been crimped on there.
